This page considers expressive facial robotic hardware.

Such robot faces may include interactive robotic facial expressions using flexible skinlike materials, robotic eyes and eye mechanisms including embedded cameras, robotic neck mechanisms, achieved by various manufacturing techniques that may be described herein.

In addition to describing the mechatronics designs, descriptions in this wiki can include descriptions of related material science, application design, aesthetics, HRI, animation design, control systems, product design, and other areas too.

Han neck model in GeoGebra

This calculates how motor positions correspond to the head's pitch and roll. It can provide intuition and can be used to verify approximate neck motor mapping functions that we may develop.
